Savitha Chivukula's profile

Nomi- Spatial Experience Campaign

I've chosen to develop an enjoyable and interactive educational platform aimed at assisting young girls in urban schools in avoiding early puberty. My objective is to increase awareness about the factors that contribute to early puberty, all while providing parents with valuable guidance to ensure a seamless and positive experience throughout their child's growth.

Feel free to use the sample prototype below!

An alternative iteration of the spatial experience model was developed with enhanced adaptability in low-light conditions. The exploration of mesh structures, as opposed to a solid finish, was also undertaken to increase cost-effectiveness in the design.

This model used for testing is scaled down by 12 times the actual size.

The children could relate the story with the situations they usually encounter in daily life.

The report from my survey taken for a sample size of 115 girls who have attained menarche, to find patterns and correlations with the triggers of early puberty. The report played a major role in filtering out my design solutions.

Some quick illustrations during the process of my research which helped me visualize certain real-life situations.

Laser cutting on acrylic sheet & MDF and 3D printing with FDM technology.

Some freehand doodles & sketches

Earlier game mechanics which were discarded after play-testing.

Thanks for looking through!
